Caitlin grew up in Calgary, AB and The Woodlands, TX. She then attended Northwestern University where she studied Voice and Opera at the Bienen School of Music and Musical Theatre at the School of Communication. During her time there, she performed at The Lyric Opera of Chicago in their production of The King and I, where she worked with fellow NU alum Kate Baldwin. After closing The King and I that spring, she graduated from Northwestern with a Bachelor of Music and a Certificate in Music Theatre. Upon moving to New York City, she was cast in the North American tour of Les Misérables, which she performed in for over two years as a Cosette understudy and in the ensemble.
